INSTRUCTION

Final Project: Stop Motion
In this project, we need to shoot a stop-motion animation. We can work in one person and also two people in one group. They only need to shoot a 30-second stop-motion animation video for those who want to do the video on their own. For two people in one group, they need to shoot 1 minute stop-motion animation video.

I work in a group and my groupmate is Tan Jie Ying. Before shooting the video, we came out with two kinds of stories and chose the second one. However, Mr Martin said our story is too intricate because the video has too many locations, It means we need to do a lot of background. It makes us need to take a lot of time.

So we make our story to a different version and make a final one. We also found our visual references and drew the storyboard.

Our main materials are clay to do the character and also the furniture.

We use a box to do our background

We shot this video twice. The first time it seemed weird so we shot the second time.

We tried the second time to shoot the video. It looks better. After that, we upload it to Google Drive and edit it in Adobe Premiere Pro.

REFLECTION
In this project, I think the harder part is to choose a story. This is because we all have our own ideas when we are writing the project proposal. However, finally, we solved the problem by combining our story into a story. Furthermore, I think shooting a stop-motion animation is also a quite difficult thing. This is because we need to be very patient when we are shooting it.
Shooting this project was tiring but I feel enjoyed editing it. When I was editing the video, it helped me to solidify what I've learned in classes. I was happy when I saw the final video. It makes me feel like all the work I did before was worth it.
